Real World Evidence in Alzheimer's disease sessions - Conference Brochure

On 30 and 31 October, ROADMAPs journey during the initial Phase 1 of the project will be featured at Alzheimer Europe’s 27th Conference “Making dementia a European priority” in Barcelona, Spain. This will include a plenary talk by Project Coordinator, John Gallacher, as well as four parallel sessions including participants from numerous Consortium partners, representatives from the European Working Group of People With Dementia, as well as members from ROADMAPs Expert Advisory Group.

The ROADMAP event at this year’s CTAD meeting in Barcelona represented the culmination of two years of efforts undertaken by a dedicated group of scientists under the auspices of the IMI framework with the common objective of highlighting Alzheimer’s disease care needs by conducting a comprehensive assessment of the real-world data available across the spectrum of Alzheimer’s disease in Europe.

ROADMAP project leaflet

ROADMAP's communications team has created a project leaflet for partners to use at conferences. The leaflet includes highlevel information on the challenge the scientists are aiming to tackle with their work and the leading objectives behind it. A digital version of the leaflet is also available on our website. The aim of the leaflet is to raise awareness about the project and to provide a basis of contact for additional database providers, interested universities, institutions as well as companies, to further expand our Europe-wide network towards a potential onboarding for a Phase 2 of ROADMAP.

 

ROADMAP article in Dementia in Europe Magazine Issue 24: April 2017

Alzheimer Europe publishes the Dementia in Europe magazine, it is distributed to all the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and many high-level decision makers in the European Commission. We present a brief overview of ROADMAP, AMYPAD, and MOPEAD. The rationale behind the projects and the concrete actions being undertaken are presented from the perspectives of both the academic and pharmaceutical partners.
