ROADMAP welcomes new WP8 co-lead Andrew Turner 12 Jun 2017

Andrew Turner is a postdoctoral researcher in the Digital Ethics Lab at the Oxford Internet Institute. He has recently taken over as the co-lead (along with Zuzanna Angehrn) of Work Package 8, which is working on the ethical, legal and social issues arising from ROADMAP activities. Andrew is a social scientist with interests how research infrastructures are built and maintained. He has previous experience of the ethical, legal and social aspects of sharing and pooling of cohort study data through his work with the DataSHIELD and BioSHaRE-EU projects. He’s excited to be working on ROADMAP and to explore the novel sociotechnical challenges likely to be posed by combining different kinds of data, in order to create a real-world evidence platform.
